The Process

Sorting

All recyclable items we receive are loaded onto our $4 million, state-of-the-art sorting system, which uses screens and air technology to help weed out nonrecyclable materials and to sort the recyclables.

Bundling

Once sorted and separated, the clean recyclables travel up a conveyor belt to be baled.

Final Destinations

Baled recyclable materials are trucked to markets.

Electronic waste including computers, A/V equipment, cell phones and small kitchen appliances – is loaded separately, for international markets.

The remaining trash, having been thoroughly picked clean of recyclable materials, is trucked to the Toland Road Landfill in Santa Paula.
